SCRAP HUMAN RIGHTS ACT INCITES TORY SECRETARY

In British politics, crime, Home Secretary, Human Rights Act, PM, politics, Theresa May, Tories on October 2, 2011 at 4:36 pm

In an interview with The Sunday Telegraph, Ms May said: “I’d personally like to see the Human Rights Act go because I think we have had some problems with it.”

Ha! What are the Tories going to come up next? Let’s bring back slavery. Or let’s kettle all women back into the kitchen.

I mean to have the Tories back in Government is already a horrible horrible feeling, but to let the PM get away with catch phrases that insult women, who by the way have begun to look elsewhere for their own political ambitions, and the Home Secretary with threats that insult every citizen’s basic rights is just ludicrous.

“The Human Rights Act is the most significant defence for ordinary people against state power ever passed into law. Simply scrapping it is a lazy and incoherent position to hold,” says the Yahoo article below.

I agree.

The Tories must go.
