“One appalled mum – whose own daughter was competing in the same pageant – goes on camera to express her shock, saying: ‘I would never, ever do that to my little girl. Ever!'”
Right. However, it is okay with her to display her daughter in a beauty pageant.
I am very wary of people appalled.
Appalled people are simply people who haven’t the guts to do what they are claiming to be appalled by, but will probably gone on to doing the same appalling act as a similar situation arises and feel good about it.
Personally, I think it is appalling that children get dressed up and paraded around by their mums. Full stopped. However, I don’t go in public to show how appalled I am because simply I don’t feel strong enough about it.
Appalled people are hypocrites with a conscious that plays with their feelings.
How do you feel about people easily appalled? Are you with them or against them? Or maybe you are an easily appalled individual, drop us a line and tell us your thoughts.
